Updated September 2026. Every number on this page carries the date it was read.
Collier County has about ten thousand pages telling you where to eat. This is not one of them. This page measures the things a dining guide never measures, because they only matter if you are deciding where to live: which gated communities have restaurants inside the gates, which club memberships buy you access to dozens of other clubs’ dining rooms, which villages go dark in September, and what dinner actually costs when you read the menus yourself. [I]
Collier County holds 1,386 DBPR licensed food service establishments, of which 1,212 are permanent brick and mortar, together declaring 131,911 licensed seats, at a median of 95 seats per venue [V, Florida DBPR extract pulled 2026-09-04]. That median is the single most useful number in this county: it is twenty seats above Lee County’s median of 75 [V, same extract], and it is why Naples dining reads as larger, more formal and more expensive than Fort Myers dining before you have opened a menu.
This is not a ranked list of restaurants. We do not publish one, because a ranked list is the one thing every competing page already has and the one thing we cannot verify at scale. What we publish instead is the material nobody else has assembled: 234 documented club to club reciprocal arrangements [V, five first party club documents, read 2026-09-04], a community by community walkability map, the state licence file read venue by venue, a 63 venue seasonal closure calendar [V, compiled 2026-09-04], and menu prices we read ourselves off operators’ own menus on dated pulls.
I have lived in Estero since 2003 and worked this market since October 2004. Estero is Lee County, not Collier, and I say that plainly because a page that pretends to be a Naples native is exactly the kind of page this one exists to replace. What twenty two years one county north gives me is the thing a food writer does not have: I have taken buyers through most of the communities on this page, and I have watched the same three dining questions decide purchases. [I]
Yardstick: every reciprocal dining or golf roster published by a Southwest Florida club that could be retrieved as a first party document. Pull date: 2026-09-04. Counts are transcribed by hand from the source PDFs and pages. No extractor was used on any value. [V]
Five programs were located and transcribed, documenting 234 club to club arrangements, 154 of them dining and 80 golf only [V, by transcription and count from the five source documents, 2026-09-04].
Host club | Program and year | Partners listed | Type | Booking route |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Worthington Country Club, Bonita Springs | 2026 Reciprocal List, Members | 76 entries, 72 active, 4 marked CLOSED 2026 | Dining, with golf and tennis on a separate form | Reception desk, Monday to Friday 8:30 to 4:00 [V] |
The Colony Bay Club, Bonita Springs | Reciprocal Information Guide 2026, file dated 8.12.2026 | 24 partners, with full dining hours for each | Dining and golf, listed separately | Bay Club staff, Monday to Friday 9:00 to 5:00 [V] |
Naples Bay Club, Naples | 2026 Reciprocals, May to October | 15 golf plus 27 dining and activities | Golf and dining on separate rosters | Not stated on the club’s page [V] |
Naples Heritage Golf and Country Club, Naples | 2026 Reciprocal List, May to October | 80 clubs across 13 cities | Golf only | Pro shop, three days ahead, and the club asks that you not call the host club directly [V] |
The Commons Club at The Brooks, Estero | 2025 Dining Reciprocal List | 31 partners plus the host | Dining, with hours | The Enrichment Center [V that the 2025 document says this] |
⚠️ The Commons Club figures are 2025 and are shown as 2025. A 2026 file was sought at the same path pattern that produced the 2025 one and was not found [V, attempted 2026-09-04]. Do not read that row as current.
A Southwest Florida club’s dining is not confined to its own clubhouse. Most bundled and semi private clubs publish a season roster of other clubs where their members may book a table, usually paying the host by credit card at a published rate, usually with a fixed number of days’ notice, and usually booked through their own club’s reception desk rather than by calling the host. [V, five 2026 programs read 2026-09-04]
Buying into a bundled club in this market does not buy one dining room. It buys access to dozens. A Worthington member is not choosing between the club grill and going out. They are choosing among roughly seventy club dining rooms across three counties, at published rates, on a season calendar. [V on the roster, [I] on the framing] That single sentence answers the most common objection I hear on a club community tour, which is that the club food will be boring.
Every program found runs roughly May 1 through October 31 [V, all five programs, read 2026-09-04]. That is the inverse of the tourist calendar. The network is at its most useful exactly when the seasonal population has left, which is why nobody writes about it and why it matters most to a year round resident. [V on the dates, [I] on the consequence]
Worthington’s 2026 list publishes member and guest rates for most partners. Rates run from $35.00 to $95.00 per member, and guest rates from $50.00 to $120.00 [V, worthingtoncc.net 2026 Reciprocal List, read 2026-09-04, tax excluded, credit card only]. Where two figures appear separated by a slash the document gives a seasonal split, higher in May and October and lower June through September; the PDF does not label which figure is which in the rate column, so we do not assert it [I].
Selected Collier side rows, verbatim from that document [V, all read 2026-09-04]:

The same document adds three operating notes worth knowing before you book: many clubs require photo identification at check in, many close frequently during summer for golf course maintenance, and members are reminded to tip host club staff [V].
Most partners on the Worthington list ask for two days’ notice. Several ask for far more: Old Corkscrew asks for 14 days, Panther Run for 10, and Spanish Wells and Stoneybrook for 7 [V, same document, read 2026-09-04]. If your picture of reciprocal dining is a spontaneous Tuesday night, adjust it. This is a booking system, not a walk in.
Crown Colony, Cypress Woods, Plantation and The Strand are each marked CLOSED 2026 on the Worthington 2026 list [V]. Two of the four are corroborated independently: Naples Heritage’s own 2026 list records The Strand as closed on June 1 for renovation and Crown Colony’s course as closed [V]. That is a dated, checkable fact about four club dining programs going dark for a season, and it exists in no consumer publication.
⚠️ The Strand carries a live conflict and we publish no status for it. Two 2026 sources say closed, one 2026 source lists it as an active dining reciprocal partner, and a 2025 source has it fully open with three named venues. The corpus does not reconcile these and neither do we. [V on the disagreement, status unknown]
The Colony Bay Club’s 2026 Reciprocal Information Guide lists 24 partners with full dining hours for each, season May 1 to October 31, 2026 [V, read 2026-09-04]. The partner list, transcribed: The Club at Barefoot Beach, Bonita Bay Club, Bonita National, The Colony Golf and Country Club, The Commons Club, Estero Country Club, The Club at Grandezza, Imperial Golf Club, Kensington Golf and Country Club, La Playa Beach and Golf Club, The Club at Mediterra, Miromar Lakes Beach Club, The Nest Golf Club, Palmira Golf Club, Pelican Marsh Golf Club, Pelican Sound Golf and River Club, Shadow Wood Country Club, Spanish Wells Golf and Country Club, Stonebridge Country Club, Spring Run Golf Club, Talis Park Golf Club, Vasari Country Club, The Beach Club at West Bay, and Wildcat Run Golf and Country Club [V, all transcribed 2026-09-04]. Two are flagged “New Club” for 2026: Spanish Wells and Stonebridge [V].
The Colony guide states plainly that if a club is not on the list, that club did not extend reciprocity with The Bay Club this season [V, direct first party statement]. That converts the roster from a positive only list into usable negative evidence. Absence is a documented non arrangement for 2026, not merely an unknown. Almost no published dataset in real estate marketing carries that property.
Talis Park publishes no dining hours of its own. The Colony 2026 guide publishes them in full: May lunch Monday to Sunday 11:00 to 3:00, dinner nightly 5:00 to 9:00, Thursday happy hour 6:00 to 8:00, Friday pasta night. June to October lunch Tuesday to Sunday 11:00 to 3:00, dinner Wednesday to Friday 5:00 to 8:00, with the Thursday happy hour and Friday pasta night continuing [V, read 2026-09-04]. The address on that entry matches the club’s own state licence filing exactly.
🔑 The method behind that, stated once because it generalises: when a club is silent about itself, a neighbouring club that sends its members there is usually not. [I]
Naples Bay Club splits its roster into golf and dining. Its dining and activities roster runs to 27 entries and includes clubs that publish nothing about their own food and appear on no other roster found: Grey Oaks, Quail Creek, The Club at Kalea Bay, Talis Park, Island Country Club on Marco, Hamilton Harbor Yacht Club, The Naples Sailing and Yacht Club, The Players Club at Lely, Tarpon Cove, The Maddox Naples, Wyndemere, Eagle Creek, La Playa, Quail Run, The Colony Golf and Country Club, Prime Social, Country Club of Naples, Bear’s Paw, Stonebridge, Twin Eagles, Treviso Bay and The Club at The Strand [V, the club’s own page, read 2026-09-04].
It also reaches out of state. The same roster carries The Tampa Club, Harbour Club in Charleston, Centre Club listed in San Antonio, Crescent Club in Memphis and Commerce Club in Greenville [V, all five listed on the club’s own page]. That is a city club network rather than a golf network, and for a relocating executive it is a materially different proposition from a nice clubhouse grill.
Reading all five rosters against the county’s club inventory produces the cleanest pattern in this research. [I, built on [V] rosters]
Three Collier clubs sit precisely on a boundary and we record them precisely rather than forcing a tier: Collier’s Reserve shares dining but appears on no golf roster found. Hideaway Beach Club shares golf but no dining. The Moorings Golf and Country Club shares golf but no dining. Each shares exactly one of its two amenities, which reads as a deliberate posture rather than an oversight [I].
🔑 A club’s absence from the reciprocal network and its silence about its own dining are the same behaviour. The clubs that publish nothing are the clubs that share nothing. Which means the reciprocal map is not only an amenity inventory. It is a measurable privacy gauge, and it is built entirely from public documents. [I, built on [V] rosters] For a buyer that inverts the usual reading: a long reciprocal list signals an outward facing, value conscious club, and no list at all signals a genuinely closed one. Some buyers want the closed one. Almost none of them currently have any way to identify it.
Rosters are reissued every season and membership changes. The Colony’s 2026 guide flags two clubs as new this year and states outright that any club not listed did not extend reciprocity this season [V]. A reciprocal claim without a season stamp is not a fact, it is a memory. We stamp all of them, and this section is enrolled for a re-read every season.
Everything above came out of reading five clubs’ own documents on 2026-09-04, and it is the kind of thing that decides between two communities you already like. Yardstick: the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation public food service licence file, which is a filing made by the club itself, under a name the club chose, at an address the club supplied, with a seat count the club declared and an inspection date the state recorded. Pull date: 2026-09-04. Seat counts are declared licence capacities, not covers. An inspection date proves the outlet was trading on that date and nothing later. [V]
⛔ Standing rule, and it governs this whole section: private club venues are members only. They are real estate amenity facts, not consumer dining recommendations. Nothing below is a suggestion that you go and eat there.
For a club that publishes nothing, the state file is the stronger source, because it carries three things marketing pages routinely omit: the number of separate licensed outlets, the declared seat count of each, and a recent inspection date that proves the outlet is trading rather than mothballed. What it never carries is access policy. A licence is a health and safety permit, not an admission statement, so wherever access is unknown on this page it says unknown. [V]
Club, community | Licensed outlets filed with the state | Declared seats | Last inspected | Access |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Bay Colony Golf Club and Beach Club, Bay Colony | 4 across 2 campuses: Golf Club Upstairs, Golf Club Downstairs, Beach Club Main, Beach Club Deck | 302, 242, 154, 112. 810 combined, the largest in the county | 03/24/2026 and 04/10/2026 | unknown [V on licences] |
Hideaway Beach Club, Marco Island | 4: main club, Hideaway Beach Grill, Hideaway Beach Sand Bar, Sports and Wellness Center | 205, 140, 109, 46 | all 04/23/2026 | unknown [V] |
Port Royal Club, Port Royal | 3 fixed plus 1 mobile: Beach Club, North, and a third at 3936 Tamiami Trl N | 289, 210, 121 | 06/30/2026 and 04/09/2026 | unknown [V] |
Talis Park, Talis Park | 3 across 2 addresses: Talis Park, Fiona’s, Casa | 286, 45, 81 | 04/20/2026 and 05/27/2026 | reciprocal dining documented [V] |
Collier’s Reserve Country Club | 3: Clubhouse, Boat House, Turnaround | 220, 187, no seating | 05/18/2026 and 09/17/2025 | reciprocal dining documented [V] |
Island Country Club, Marco Island | 2: Sarazen Grille, Double Eagle Bistro | 310, 165 | both 04/22/2026 | on the Naples Bay Club dining roster [V] |
Naples Yacht Club, Old Naples | 2 levels | 380, 160 | 06/04/2026 and 04/02/2026 | unknown, on no roster found [V] |
The Moorings Golf and Country Club | 1, at 2500 Crayton Rd | 264 | 05/06/2026 | golf reciprocal only [V] |
Wilderness Country Club | 1 | 116 | 05/12/2026 | unknown, on no roster found [V] |
Bonita Bay Club East, Collier side | 1, filed in Collier at 3700 Wildwood Blvd | 165 | 05/15/2026 | unknown [V] |
Four licences across two campuses, 810 combined declared seats, all inspected in March and April 2026 [V]. Bay Colony Golf Club publishes the most detailed venue list of any club in Collier County, naming a Main Dining Room seating up to 170, a Grille Room seating 138, a Terrace, a Patio, a Club Room, a Private Dining Room seating up to 40, a Wine Room seating 16 boardroom style with five cellars holding up to 910 bottles, and a Boardroom seating 12 [V, baycolonygolfclub.com]. The eight published names sit inside four licences, so they are service areas rather than eight separate restaurants [I]. The food program is led by a Certified Executive Chef and an Advanced Sommelier, neither of whom is named publicly, and we do not name them [V, negative finding].
Four licences, all inspected on the same day in April 2026. The finding is the fourth: a 46 seat licensed outlet at 333 Hideaway Circle North, inside the Sports and Wellness Center, which is off the 250 South Beach Drive clubhouse campus and appears in no published source in this corpus [V, licence SEA2103931, inspected 04/23/2026]. Sand Bar is corroborated as a licensed 109 seat outlet matching the club’s own published name [V]. We do not map the 205 seat and 140 seat licences onto the published Gulfview Room and Coconut Grille Room names, because that mapping is plausible and unproven [I at best].
The club files its Gordon Drive outlets as Beach Club at 289 seats and North at 210 seats, plus a mobile unit [V]. The finding is the third licence: Port Royal Club Inc holds an active 121 seat permanent food service licence at 3936 Tamiami Trail North, several miles off the club campus, inspected 9 April 2026 [V, licence SEA2103346]. The club is mid build on a new 62,000 square foot clubhouse [V, club flipbook]. A club licensed dining room at a commercial Tamiami Trail address during a clubhouse reconstruction reads as interim member dining relocated off site for the duration [I]. The licence and address are verified. The interim reading is inferred and labelled as such.
If you are buying in Port Royal in 2026, that is a fact you want before closing, and it is on no listing sheet. [I]
Jacket and tie are required for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter and the Friday Evening Seafood Buffets [V, portroyalclub.org]. That standing Friday buffet is the single most concrete checkable fact about Port Royal Club dining in public. From May 1 through October 31 knee length shorts are permitted in the South Terrace and Benbow’s Bar but not in Rogue’s Rest [V]. No blue denim of any kind at any time [V].
⛔ Benbow’s Bar, Rogue’s Rest and the South Terrace are named in the club’s own dress code table and nowhere described. We publish the names and we do not characterise the venue type of any of them, because the club does not, and the state file uses an entirely different naming scheme. [V]
The club’s own site carries no dining page. The state file carries two proper brand names: Sarazen Grille at 310 seats and Double Eagle Bistro at 165 seats, both inspected 04/22/2026 [V]. Both are golf references. “Grille Room” circulates in third party directories and is not corroborated anywhere first party, so we do not publish it [V, negative finding].
Two licensed dining levels, 380 seats and 160 seats, both inspected in 2026 [V]. The club was founded in 1947 and its main licence is the third in the Collier county series, consistent with one of the oldest continuously renewed food service licences in the county [I]. “Chart Room” and “Main Dining Room” circulate on third party sites, appear nowhere on the club’s own site, and are not what the state file calls them. We publish neither. [V, negative finding] What we can publish is the two level structure and the seat counts.
Searching “Moorings” in the Collier licence file returns a large cluster of outlets belonging to Moorings Park, a continuing care retirement community group, and not to The Moorings Golf and Country Club. They are different organisations at different addresses. [V]
Moorings Park operates at least eight licensed food outlets across at least four campuses, with real brand names: Trio (144 seats), Park Grill (156), Savor Twenty Six (293), Zest (92), Sand Wedge Bistro, Vynes and 105, plus a 256 seat clubhouse and a 20 seat Center for Healthy Living [V, all read 2026-09-04]. That is the largest club style dining portfolio in Collier County and it belongs to a senior living operator, not a golf club. For anyone looking at Moorings Park Grande Lake or Moorings Park at Grey Oaks, the dining program is far richer than any published source shows.
The Moorings Golf and Country Club is one licence, 264 seats, at 2500 Crayton Road [V]. A page that mixes the two is wrong, and several do.
One licensed food service outlet, 116 seats, inspected 05/12/2026 [V]. Third party reporting describes a culinary team working “across three distinctive venues.” One licence at 116 seats is not consistent with three distinct licensed venues. Three service areas can sit inside one licensed operation, so both readings can be partly true. We publish the licence and the seat count, and we do not publish three restaurants. [V on the licence, conflict recorded and unresolved]
Pelican Bay Foundation operates member dining reached by the community tram: Marker 36 on the north end and Sandbar on the south end, both beachfront on the Gulf, plus The Nest just south of the Sandbar [V, pelicanbay.org]. The Club Pelican Bay, the private member owned golf club at 707 Gulf Park Drive, names The Tavern, the Atrium, the Oaks Room and the Wine Bar [V, clubpelicanbay.com]. Foundation membership attaches to the property, so a renter or a guest cannot simply walk in [V].
⛔ “Sunset Café” is retired and must not be published as current. A community guide still describes the three member restaurants as “the Sandbar Restaurant, Sunset Café, or Marker 36” while the Foundation’s own navigation lists Marker 36, Sandbar and The Nest. The Nest is probably the successor [I]. Do not publish a street address for Marker 36, where two directory listings disagree and one gives the Foundation mailing address [V, conflict logged].
Three private beachfront restaurants the public cannot enter, in a county where beachfront commercial space barely exists, is the Pelican Bay argument in one sentence. [I]
Club | 2026 status | Evidence | Label |
|---|---|---|---|
Port Royal Club | 121 seat licence off campus at 3936 Tamiami Trl N during a 62,000 sq ft clubhouse build | DBPR, inspected 04/09/2026 | licence [V], interim reading [I] |
The Club at The Strand | CLOSED 2026 on one 2026 list; closed June 1 for renovation on another | two independent 2026 first party lists | [V] on the statements, status conflicted |
Crown Colony | CLOSED 2026; course closed on a second list | two independent 2026 lists | [V] |
Cypress Woods | CLOSED 2026 | Worthington 2026 list | [V] |
Plantation | CLOSED 2026 | Worthington 2026 list | [V] |
The Golf Lodge at The Quarry | Closed for renovation | Naples Heritage 2026 list | [V] |
Hideaway Beach Club | Golf course closed for renovation. All four dining licences active and inspected | Naples Heritage 2026 list plus DBPR | [V] |
Naples Yacht Club | Marina closed for construction, no fuel, dockage or pickups | prior corpus pass | [V] per that pass |
The club you are shown in 2026 may not be the club you get in 2027. For a buyer touring this season that is the single most useful table on this page, and it exists nowhere else. [I]
Closed for renovations with an anticipated reopening in the first quarter of 2027 [V, corpus record]. Do not read any current listing that presents it as open. We will re verify after Q1 2027.
Yardstick: three states only. Walkable means a resident can reach a sit down restaurant on foot or by golf cart without leaving the community or crossing an arterial. On site club only means dining exists inside the gates but requires a car, a cart or a tram. Neither means both are absent. Drive times are inferred from road geography and are free flow figures; January through April season traffic can add fifty percent or more [I]. Assessed 2026-08-15, community pages resolved against our own registry 2026-09-04.

Riverstone | No | None. No restaurant exists here | not yet built |
Golden Gate Estates | No. Far east addresses can be a 15 to 25 minute drive from any restaurant | None |
⛔ Three communities have no restaurant and we state it as a fact, because competitor pages routinely invent one: there is no restaurant at Riverstone, Marbella Lakes or Wilshire Lakes [V, negative finding]. There is likewise no restaurant at Cape Marco, where the claim traces to an MLS amenity checkbox artifact [V], and no Zephyr at Kalea Bay [V, the name does not exist]. VeronaWalk’s restaurant is Verona Grill, not “Cafe Verona”, and most competitor community pages still publish the retired name [V].
Of the communities assessed, genuine walkability is a coastal and town center phenomenon and almost nothing else. Old Naples, Marco Island, Aqualane Shores, Park Shore’s beachfront, Coquina Sands, Vanderbilt Beach, Naples Park, Isles of Capri, Goodland, Immokalee, Ave Maria, Verona Walk and Tiburon. Every large North Naples golf community assessed is a no. [I, from the verified rows above]
That is not a criticism of those communities. It is the trade they make, and it is the trade a buyer should make knowingly. If walking to dinner is on your list, the gated golf tier is largely not where it lives, and no amount of “world class dining nearby” copy changes the geometry.
Verona Walk is one of very few Collier communities where residents walk or take a golf cart to a sit down restaurant inside the gates [V]. Tiburon is the only golf community assessed where residents can walk to resort dining and a pub inside the community [V]. If walkability is your constraint and a gate is your preference, those two are the short list.

Yardstick: the Florida DBPR public food service licence file for Lee, Collier and Charlotte, plus the weekly emergency order extracts. Pull date: 2026-09-04, against a prior pull on 2026-08-15 for comparison. [V]
⛔ Wording rule we hold to throughout and you should hold us to: every count here is “of DBPR licensed food service establishments”, never “of restaurants.”
Measure | Collier | Lee | Charlotte |
|---|---|---|---|
All food service licences | 1,386 | 2,707 | 526 |
Brick and mortar, permanent | 1,212 | 1,994 | 422 |
Mobile, trucks and carts | 110 | 585 | 89 |
Caterer, vending, temporary | 64 | 128 | 15 |
Licensed seats | 131,911 | 189,882 | 47,892 |
Median venue size | 95 seats | 75 seats | 80 seats |
Licensed caterers | 52 | 113 | 4 |
All [V, DBPR extract pulled 2026-09-04]. Three county total: 4,619 licences, 3,628 brick and mortar, 369,685 licensed seats [V].
Collier’s median licensed venue is 95 seats. Lee’s is 75. [V, 2026-09-04] Measured three weeks earlier Collier’s median was 96, so the figure is stable rather than a one pull artifact [V, 2026-08-15]. That twenty seat gap is the quantitative form of something everyone in this market says qualitatively: Naples dining skews larger, more formal and more capital intensive than Fort Myers dining. A 95 seat room needs a different rent, a different service model and a different check average than a 75 seat room, and that difference is what a buyer is actually noticing when Naples “feels” more expensive.
On a per brick and mortar basis Lee runs one licensed food truck for every 3.5 permanent restaurants. Collier runs one for every 11.5 [V, 2026-09-04]. Lee added eight trucks in the three weeks between pulls. Collier added none. The gap widened. [V]
That is a zoning and market structure fact wearing a food costume. If casual, cheap, mobile food is part of how you want to eat, Collier is measurably not the county that has it, and the difference is not marginal.
Thirteen times as many, in a county with 2.6 times the licences [V, 2026-09-04]. Caterer density is a proxy for private entertaining at home, which is a proxy for a certain kind of household. Nobody publishes this and it is a genuinely useful signal about how a market actually socialises. [I]
⚠️ This is the one figure on this page where the answer depends entirely on the question, and we show both.
By brand name basis, where a business is classified as a chain if its normalised base name appears five or more times in the 69,529 licence statewide file: 80.4 percent of Collier brick and mortar establishments are independent (975 of 1,212), against 75.5 percent in Lee and 71.3 percent in Charlotte [V, 2026-09-04].
By operator basis, counting single licence operators against all licences: 75.4 percent in Collier, against 80.2 percent in Lee and 77.2 percent in Charlotte [V, 2026-09-04].
🔑 Collier is first under one definition and last under the other. The reversal reproduced identically on two independent pulls nineteen days apart, so it is a property of the definitions and not an artifact of one dataset [V]. We therefore publish the shares and we do not rank the counties against each other. Anyone who tells you which Southwest Florida county is “most independent” without stating a definition has not checked.
Zero rows across all 4,619 tri county licences match Starbucks, Publix, 7-Eleven, Wawa, Crumbl or Dutch Bros, against Subway at 54 and Dunkin at 54 in the same file [V, verified 2026-09-04 with word boundary matching on both the business name and licensee name fields].
That is not an absence of those businesses. It is a regulator split: those operations sit with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services rather than DBPR. [V] It is exactly why every count on this page reads “DBPR licensed food service establishments” and never “restaurants,” and it is the kind of thing that quietly wrecks any analysis built on this file by someone who has not checked.
DBPR records “Naples” as the mailing city for essentially all of unincorporated Collier, including Golden Gate, East Naples, Lely, North Naples, Vanderbilt and Pelican Bay. The 1,039 brick and mortar figure filed under “Naples” is Naples plus most of unincorporated Collier, not the City of Naples [V]. Exactly one row in the entire file self identifies as “East Naples,” which proves the point rather than weakening it. The City of Naples proper is a small minority of that number [A]. Splitting it properly requires geocoding, which we have not done, and we will not publish a City of Naples restaurant count until we have.
City as filed | Brick and mortar | Mobile | Other | Licensed seats |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Naples, plus most of unincorporated Collier | 1,039 | 81 | 52 | 114,333 |
Marco Island | 98 | 1 | 3 | 11,107 |
Immokalee | 34 | 26 | 1 | 1,825 |
Ave Maria | 13 | 1 | 2 | 1,194 |
Bonita Springs, Collier side | 12 | 0 | 0 | 1,199 |
Everglades City | 8 | 0 | 3 | 931 |
Goodland | 4 | 1 | 0 | 876 |
Ochopee | 1 | 0 | 2 | 86 |
Chokoloskee | 1 | 0 | 0 | 225 |
Isles of Capri | 1 | 0 | 0 | 120 |
All [V, DBPR extract 2026-09-04]. Goodland has four permanent licensed food service establishments and 876 declared seats. Hold that number, because the seasonal section is about to make it the most interesting cell in the table.
We run a standing pre publication check: no venue we recommend may have received a Florida DBPR emergency closure order in the preceding eighteen months. The check matches on address or licence number, never on name alone [V, method]. Run at full scale on 2026-09-04 against 1,051 names it returned nine hits at eight establishments across three counties, two of them in Collier [V]. Both Collier hits have been removed from every recommendation on this page and are not named here.
⚠️ Name matching alone would have got this wrong in both directions. One brand was nearly excluded because a different location under the same name, at a different address on a different licence, had an order [V]. On one Cape Coral plaza, seven separate licences share a single street address [V]. This is why we match on licence.
Yardstick: a venue appears here only if a first party or dated source states a seasonal closure, a reopening month or an explicit reduced off season schedule. A venue with no documented seasonal pattern is left out entirely. Absence from this calendar means no evidence was collected, never that a venue runs twelve months. Compiled 2026-09-04, with seven live first party re verifications on that date. [V]
63 venues across three counties carry a documented seasonal pattern: 19 full closures, 27 reduced schedules and 18 documented year round. 988 roster records were deliberately left out for lack of seasonal evidence. [V] Collier holds roughly two thirds of the documented set, which reflects where the research went rather than where the seasonality is [V, stated by the source].
Venue | Where | Stated window | Reopening |
|---|---|---|---|
Sale e Pepe | Marco Beach Ocean Resort, Marco Island | Closed for season Saturday, June 27, 2026 | Early October 2026 [V] |
Little Bar Restaurant | Goodland | Closed for summer | October 2026, exact date to be announced [V] |
Kirk Fish Company, retail market | Goodland | Closed for season, market runs October to May | October 15 at 10:00 am [V] |
Paradise Found Restaurant and Grill | Goodland | Closed for the season | “Next fall,” no venue date [V] |
Triad Seafood Market and Cafe | Everglades City | Closed for the summer | October 1, 2026 [V] |
HavAnnA Cafe | Chokoloskee | Closed for a short summer break | October, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays [V] |
The Grill, The Ritz-Carlton Naples | Vanderbilt Beach | Closed through the off season | October 2026 [V] |
The Mahogany Room and Terrace | Quail West | Closed for the summer following May 6 | unknown [V on the statement, year [I]] |
The Flag View Bar | TPC Treviso Bay | Closed for the summer | unknown [V] |
La Cucina Food Truck | TPC Treviso Bay | Closed for the summer | unknown [V] |
Naples Sailing and Yacht Club, all four rooms | Royal Harbor | Club closed during August | September [I] |
Arthur’s | TPC Treviso Bay | Closed August 3 to August 18, the most precisely bounded short closure found | August 19 [I] |
The Old Collier Golf Club, food and beverage | North Naples | Runs January 1 to April 30 only | January 1 [V] |
All statuses re verified live on 2026-09-04 where the row says so, otherwise read 2026-08-12 or 2026-08-15 as recorded in the sources block.
Food and beverage operates January 1 through April 30, open every day except two Mondays of the month, with club closed entries posted for October dates and no dinner service listed at all [V, theoldcolliergc.com, read 2026-08-15]. Eight months dark. If you are looking at a north Naples address on the strength of a club dining program, that is the extreme end of what “seasonal” can mean here.
A visitor driving to Goodland on a Tuesday in August or September finds every single food business in the village closed. Of the five: Little Bar closed for the summer, Paradise Found closed for the season, Kirk Fish closed for the season, Stan’s Idle Hour open weekends only, The Crabby Lady closed Monday through Wednesday. [V, from the individual first party hours]
Four permanent licences and 876 declared seats, and on a Tuesday in September the number of them serving is zero. That is what the licence file cannot tell you and why a seat count alone is not a market. [I]
Both Capri restaurants that publish hours run full unreduced schedules through September, with dinner to 9:30 and 10:00 pm, while Goodland is weekend only and dark by 6:30. Capri is roughly three miles from Marco and under one nautical mile by boat from Snook Inn [V, all read 2026-08-15]. Island Gypsy Cafe runs Monday to Thursday 11 am to 9 pm and Friday to Sunday to 10 pm [V, theislandgypsy.com]. The Capri Fish House runs lunch 11 to 4, early bird 4 to 5:30 Monday to Saturday, dinner 4 to 9:30 [V, caprifishhouse.com].
For anyone weighing an Isles of Collier Preserve or south Collier address, that is a live and useful piece of geography.
27 of the 63 documented venues reduce days or hours rather than closing [V]. Selected Collier rows, all read 2026-08-15 unless stated:
Contracted operators close on the same days, so the front half of the week has meaningfully fewer options than the schedule looks like on paper. It is documented independently on Marco, in Goodland and at a Charlotte County resort. In every documented cluster the closures stack on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. [I, from the verified hours] The off season risk in Collier is not that the restaurant is full. It is that the restaurant is shut.
Location 1 behind Bistro 821 operates October 1 to May 31. Locations 2 and 3 operate November 1 to May 31. Location 6 behind BICE operates December 1 to May 31 [V, city and district valet listings, read 2026-08-15]. Not a restaurant, but it strands the same reader, and a July visitor expecting valet on Fifth Avenue will not find it at four of seven stations.
Every documented seasonal reopening in Collier falls inside a roughly four week band in October. [V]
Date | Venue | Precision |
|---|---|---|
October 1, 2026 | Triad Seafood, Everglades City | Exact day [V] |
October 15, 2026, 10:00 am | Kirk Fish Company, Goodland | Exact hour, the only published reopening hour found anywhere in this research [V] |
“Early October 2026” | Sale e Pepe, Marco Island | Month plus qualifier [V] |
“October 2026, exact date to be announced” | Little Bar, Goodland | Month only [V] |
“October,” Friday to Sunday | HavAnnA Cafe, Chokoloskee | Month only [V] |
“October 2026” | The Grill, The Ritz-Carlton Naples | Month only [V] |
“Fall 2026” | Paradise Found, Goodland | Season only [V] |
⚠️ Where an aggregator publishes a harder date than the venue, we take the venue. One listing gives Little Bar an October 9 reopening and another gives Paradise Found an October 24; neither has first party backing and we do not publish either [V on the disagreement].
Florida stone crab season opens October 15 and closes May 1, closed May 2, claws only, minimum claw size 2 7/8 inches, set by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission [V]. Four independent first party sources in Collier align on that window: Kirk Fish Company reopens October 15 and runs its market October to May; Little Bar’s own copy says claws go fast once season opens in October; CJ’s on the Bay prints “Local Stone Crab (October to May)” on its menu; Triad Seafood’s stone crab feast has run since 2007 and the restaurant reopens October 1. [V each]
🔑 Marco Island, Goodland and Everglades City do not run on the snowbird calendar. They run on the crab calendar, and the crab calendar opens two weeks before the snowbirds arrive. [I, from four verified alignments] Any published guide that explains the outer Collier season through tourism has the causation backwards.
⚠️ A widely republished claw minimum of 2 3/4 inches is superseded. Pull the season dates and the claw minimum first party from the FWC before relying on them, and re check every September.
Where | What is documented open |
|---|---|
Everglades City | Island Cafe, 305 Collier Ave, reported 6:00 am to 9:00 pm daily, year round. It is the only one. Triad is dark, HavAnnA is dark [V as reported by directories, worth a first party call] |
Marco Island | Snook Inn, 11 am to midnight daily with live music daily; LeeBe Fish, which advertises being open all of September as a distinguishing claim; Da Vinci’s; Marco Prime; CJ’s on the Bay; Mango’s Dockside; Sand Bar; and all three resorts [V each, first party] |
Isles of Capri | Island Gypsy Cafe and The Capri Fish House, both on full unreduced schedules. Pelican Bend Wednesday to Sunday with live music five nights [V each] |
Goodland | The Crabby Lady Thursday to Sunday only. Stan’s Idle Hour weekends only [V] |
⚠️ The Crabby Lady is described by two aggregators as “the one Goodland spot open year round” while its own site posts a Thursday to Sunday summer week. Both are true. Never publish one without the other. [V]
Lee County bed tax collections swing from $8.1 million in March to $1.9 million in September, a 4.3x swing [V]. RSW airport carried 1.5 million passengers in March 2024 against 523,004 in September [V]. Naples metro hospitality employment is reported to have fallen from 36,200 in February 2025 to 29,700 in September, a loss of 6,500 jobs [I, from a social post citing federal labour data].
⛔ We are not publishing that 6,500 figure as a fact. It is the best statistic found for this topic and it has not been verified against the Bureau of Labor Statistics QCEW or CES series. It is shown here labelled, and it stays labelled until somebody checks it.
Sizzle Dining runs the whole month of September and is the only event in this research safe to describe as “every September” without qualification. 2026 ran September 1 to 30 across Lee and Collier, with dedicated city pages for Downtown Naples, East Naples, Midtown Naples, North Naples and Marco Island [V]. Two course lunches and three course dinners at set prices, no ticket or pass required, walk in and ask for the Sizzle menu [V].
⚠️ Three different participant counts are in circulation for 2026, from the event’s own materials, the county visitor bureau and a newspaper exclusive. We publish no count. [V on the disagreement]
Month | Event | Where | Fixed or moves |
|---|---|---|---|
January | Naples Winter Wine Festival | The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburon | Moves [V] |
January into February | Goodland Mullet Festival | Goodland | Moves [V] |
February | Everglades Seafood Festival, presented by the Florida Stone Crabbers Association | Everglades City | Moves, always February [V] |
March | Marco Island Seafood and Music Festival | Veterans Memorial Park, Marco Island | Moves, month confirmed only [V] |
May 1 | Stone crab season closes | county wide | Fixed [V] |
September | Sizzle Dining | county wide | Fixed to the month [V] |
October 15 | Stone crab season opens | county wide | Fixed [V] |
October | Naples Stone Crab Festival | Naples | Moves [V] |
Everglades City bills itself the Stone Crab Capital of the World, and its festival is the only one in three counties presented by a commercial fishermen’s association [I]. Month unconfirmed and therefore undated here: the Goodland end of season Gator Roast and crawfish boil [V that it exists, month unknown].
⚠️ One aggregator published “Likely Dates: October 24-26, 2026” for the Naples Stone Crab Festival, a Saturday to Monday, against the organiser’s already published October 23-25 [V, read 2026-09-04]. Never take a forward festival date from an aggregator. We publish the month and point you at the organiser.
Yardstick: every figure below was read from the operator’s own menu, on the date shown, by a person looking at it. No aggregator price appears anywhere in this section. Where two first party sources disagree we show both and pick neither. Primary pull dates: 2026-08-15, with the Collier only recomputation performed 2026-09-04.
Metric | Value | Basis |
|---|---|---|
Collier fine dining median entree | $45 | 11 Collier restaurants, first party menus, entree sections only, read 2026-08-15 [V] |
Collier fine dining median Caesar salad | $16.95, range $15 to $18 | 7 Collier restaurants publishing a Caesar [V] |
Collier fine dining grouper range | $44.95 to $59 | 8 Collier restaurants publishing grouper [V] |
⚠️ These figures were corrected on 2026-09-04 and the correction is worth stating, because it is the reason to trust them. An earlier computation folded three Bonita Springs restaurants into a “Naples” aggregate. Bonita Springs is Lee County. Removing them left the $45 entree median unchanged, but moved the Caesar median from $16 to $16.95 and its floor from $7 to $15, because the $7 was a half portion at a Bonita venue. [V, recomputed 2026-09-04] The median survived by luck rather than by method, which is exactly why the check was run instead of assumed.
At the median: $45 per entree, $16.95 for a Caesar, $8 to $12 for a side and $14 to $20 for a drink. A two person dinner with a shared appetiser, two entrees, two glasses of wine, tax and tip lands at roughly $190 to $230 in the dense band, and roughly $300 at the two steakhouses in the set. [V on the components, [I] on the totals]
Bleu Provence $56.99, Escargot 41 $57.95, Pazzo! $59, The Claw Bar $62, Chops City Grill $65, Ocean Prime $66 [V, all read 2026-08-15]. Vergina’s $49 sits alone below them. Six restaurants inside nine dollars is the real Naples fine dining filet price and it is remarkably tight. Pazzo!, an Italian room with a $29 bone in chicken, prices its 7 oz filet six dollars under a dedicated steakhouse’s 7 oz. [V]
$44.95 to $59 across eight Collier restaurants publishing it [V]. Everyone sources it from the same water, nobody imports it, and nobody can hide behind a wagyu grade, so the price tracks the room rather than the ingredient. That makes grouper a better tier signal than filet. [I]
The clearest illustration sits on one menu: the same grouper is $50 simple, grilled or blackened with one side, and $57 pan seared with risotto and a glaze. A $7 plating premium on an identical piece of fish, isolated and visible. [V, read 2026-08-15]
$54 at Chops City Grill, $54 at Alberto’s on Fifth, $61 at Bayside, $63 at Ocean Prime, and $47.95 to $51.95 at USS Nemo [V]. Four of five cluster within nine dollars. It is an import with a well known landed cost and the menus reflect that.
$15 at Pazzo!, $16 at The Claw Bar, $16 at Bayside, $16.95 at USS Nemo, $17.95 at Escargot 41, $18 at Ocean Prime, $18 at Vergina [V]. A restaurant charging $18 for romaine, parmesan and croutons is telling you exactly what it thinks its dining room is worth.
Widen the frame beyond fine dining and the spread doubles: $11 at The Crabby Lady in Goodland to $22 for a lunch entree Caesar at The Turtle Club [V, read 2026-08-15]. The Turtle Club prices its own Caesar four dollars higher at lunch than at dinner, because the lunch version is built as an entree salad. That is a verified and genuinely counterintuitive fact.
Chops City Grill’s bar collection, available daily until 6:00 pm, sells prime tenderloin sliced steak frites at $30 while the dining room sells a 7 oz filet of the same cut at $65, and sells six oysters at $13 at half off [V]. Ocean Prime’s lounge runs $5 off every item Monday to Friday, 4 pm to 6 pm [V]. Bayside’s summer prix fixe runs $42 for three courses [V].
🔑 A diner who eats at the bar between four and six pays roughly half. No aggregator captures this and it is the highest value consumer fact in the entire pricing set. [V on the prices, [I] on the ratio]
Restaurant | Offer | Price | Window |
|---|---|---|---|
Tulia Italian Steak | Wagyu Weekday, marble scored sirloin | $25 | Monday to Wednesday, 4:00 to 6:00 pm [V] |
Ridgway Bar and Grill | Early Dining, three courses, whole restaurant | $42, coulotte steak plus $10 | 4:30 to 6:00 pm, seven nights [V, menu dated 5/4/26] |
Sails Restaurant | Sunset Menu, three courses | $69, striploin plus $15 | 4:30 to 5:00 pm reservations, Monday to Thursday [V, PDF dated July 2026] |
Sails Restaurant | Tasting menu, per table only | $235 per person, $390 with wine pairing | dinner [V] |
Bleu Provence | 20 percent off the entire check | percentage, not fixed | 5:00 to 5:30 pm daily [V] |
Collier’s early dining ladder runs from a $25 promotional steak to a $235 tasting menu, and one operator sits outside the ladder entirely with a percentage off the whole check. No aggregator publishes that comparison. [V on the figures]
Restaurant | Window | Verified detail |
|---|---|---|
Grappino | 2:00 to 6:00 pm | earliest start found in Collier [V] |
Sea Salt Naples | 3:00 to 8:00 pm | longest window found in Collier, five hours [V] |
Ridgway Bar and Grill | 3:00 to 6:00 pm | 40 percent off cocktails, beer and wines by the glass, at the Courtyard Bar and Ridgway Bar only. Food $9 to $18 [V] |
CJ’s on the Bay | 3:00 to 6:30 pm | house wine $6, house liquor $6, domestic draft $4, domestic bottle $5. Craft beer excluded [V] |
Snook Inn Tiki Hour | Monday to Friday 4:00 to 6:00 pm and 10:00 pm to midnight, weekends 10:00 pm to midnight | the only late night happy hour found in Collier [V] |
Sails Martini Hour | 4:30 to 5:30 pm daily | martinis in a 10 oz glass, $21 [V] |
Bleu Provence | 5:00 to 6:00 pm daily | [V] |
⚠️ Bar only restriction verified at four Collier operators. A party seated at a table does not get the price. Anyone writing a happy hour guide without that caveat is writing fiction. [V]
Cheapest verified happy hour drink in Collier: $4, a select domestic draft. [V, read 2026-08-15]
Not one Collier restaurant in the pricing capture publishes Dover sole, and neither did the three Bonita Springs venues read alongside them [V]. One operator maintains a blog post about it while not listing it on the menu. Any page presenting Dover sole as a Naples category is describing a market that does not exist.
⛔ We hold roughly seven prix fixe conflicts where two sources give different figures for the same restaurant, across at least seven Collier restaurants. We publish neither number for any of them. [V on the disagreement]
⛔ We publish no price at all from four Collier menu sources, for four separate documented reasons: a PDF that stacks two contradictory menus on one physical page where only one layer is visible; a set of prices ending in odd cent values that read as tax inclusive rather than menu board figures; an unfinished website template; and a menu path returning a server block. Sixteen further Collier menu paths returned 404 in the same pass. Those prices are unknown and we will not infer them. [V]
We would rather name the boundary of what we know than fill it. [Kit Phase 5c state 3.]

Four rules govern everything above, and they are the reason the numbers hold.
And the method finding that produced most of this page: a DBPR licence is a filing made by the business itself. It names venues, seat counts, licensee entities and inspection dates that the business’s own marketing site declines to publish. It resolved nineteen private clubs that had defeated every other route. [V] The general form is worth more than the technique: when a private operator publishes nothing, look for the compulsory filing it cannot avoid making.

We do not publish a restaurant count and neither should anyone else without a definition. What is measurable: Collier County holds 1,386 DBPR licensed food service establishments, 1,212 of them permanent brick and mortar [V, extract 2026-09-04]. That file excludes operations regulated by the state agriculture department, so it is not a restaurant count and we never present it as one.
The median DBPR licensed venue in Collier declares 95 seats [V, 2026-09-04], against 75 in Lee County and 80 in Charlotte. Collier’s figure was 96 three weeks earlier, so it is stable.
It depends entirely on the definition, and the ranking reverses. By brand name, 80.4 percent of Collier establishments are independent, the highest of the three counties. By operator, 75.4 percent are, the lowest of the three [V, 2026-09-04]. We publish both and rank neither.
The Collier fine dining median entree is $45, computed from eleven first party menus read on 2026-08-15 [V]. Add roughly $16.95 for a Caesar, $8 to $12 for a side and $14 to $20 for a drink. Two people with a shared appetiser and two glasses of wine land around $190 to $230, or roughly $300 at the county’s two dedicated steakhouses.
Eat at the bar between four and six. One steakhouse sells prime tenderloin steak frites at $30 at the bar while the dining room sells a 7 oz filet of the same cut at $65 [V, read 2026-08-15]. Another runs $5 off every lounge item Monday to Friday 4 to 6. Verify the bar only restriction first, which we confirmed at four Collier operators.
Grouper. It runs $44.95 to $59 across eight Collier restaurants publishing it [V]. Everyone buys it from the same water, so the price tracks the room rather than the ingredient.
It means your club publishes a season roster of other clubs where you may book a table, usually at a published rate, usually with a fixed notice period, and usually booked through your own club’s reception desk. Five Southwest Florida programs documented 234 club to club arrangements for the 2026 season, 154 of them dining [V, read 2026-09-04].
On the largest documented 2026 program, 72 active partner clubs across three counties, at published rates from $35 to $95 [V]. That is the strongest single argument for bundled club product over a non club community, and almost nobody makes it.
Roughly May 1 through October 31, across all five documented programs [V, 2026-09-04]. That is the off season, which is exactly when the network is most useful and least discussed.
Most partners ask for two days. Several ask for far more: one asks for fourteen days, another for ten, and two for seven [V, one 2026 roster read 2026-09-04]. Plan it, do not improvise it.
Yes, and this is the finding we are proudest of. A club’s absence from the reciprocal network and its silence about its own dining are the same behaviour [I, built on verified rosters]. Four prominent Collier clubs appear on no reciprocal roster of any kind found. A long published list signals an outward facing club. No list at all signals a genuinely closed one.
By declared licensed seats, Bay Colony leads at 810 across four licences on two campuses [V, 2026-09-04]. Hideaway Beach and Port Royal each file four licences. Talis Park and Collier’s Reserve each file three.
Assume not. Access policy is never inferable from a state licence, and where this page says access is unknown it genuinely is. These are real estate amenity facts, not dining recommendations.
No. Of the communities we assessed, genuine walkability is concentrated in Old Naples, Marco Island, Aqualane Shores, the Park Shore beachfront, Coquina Sands, Vanderbilt Beach, Naples Park, Isles of Capri, Goodland, Immokalee, Ave Maria, Verona Walk and Tiburon. Every large North Naples gated golf community we assessed is a no.
Verona Walk and Tiburon are the two clearest. Verona Walk residents walk or take a golf cart to a sit down restaurant inside the gates. Tiburon residents can walk to resort dining and a pub inside the community. [V, assessed 2026-08-15]
Yes, and competitor pages routinely invent one. There is no restaurant at Riverstone, Marbella Lakes or Wilshire Lakes [V, negative finding], and no restaurant at Cape Marco, where the claim traces to an MLS amenity checkbox.
Thirteen Collier venues have a documented full seasonal closure, concentrated on Marco Island, in Goodland and in Everglades City, plus several private club rooms [V, compiled 2026-09-04]. Another sixteen or so documented Collier venues reduce days or hours instead of closing.
On a Tuesday, nothing. All five Goodland food businesses are closed on a Tuesday in August or September [V, from their own published hours]. Thursday to Sunday, The Crabby Lady. Weekends, Stan’s Idle Hour.
Isles of Capri. Both Capri restaurants that publish hours run full unreduced schedules through September with dinner to 9:30 and 10:00 pm, while Goodland runs weekends only and is dark by 6:30 [V, read 2026-08-15]. Capri is about three miles from Marco by road and under one nautical mile by boat.
Island Cafe, 305 Collier Ave, reported open 6:00 am to 9:00 pm daily year round. It is the only one we could document, and it is worth a phone call before you drive out [V as reported].
Inside a four week band in October. October 1 for one Everglades City venue, October 15 at 10:00 am for the Goodland fish market, early October for a Marco Island resort room, and October for three more [V, all first party]. Where an aggregator publishes a harder date than the venue, take the venue.
Stone crab. Florida stone crab season opens October 15 and closes May 1 [V, FWC]. Four independent first party Collier sources align their calendars to it. Marco Island, Goodland and Everglades City run on the crab calendar, and it opens two weeks before the snowbirds arrive. [I]
October 15 through May 1, closed May 2. Claws only, minimum claw size 2 7/8 inches, set by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission [V]. A widely republished 2 3/4 inch minimum is superseded. Pull it first party each September.
Sizzle Dining, the whole month of September, with dedicated city pages for Downtown Naples, East Naples, Midtown Naples, North Naples and Marco Island. Two course lunches and three course dinners at set prices, no ticket or pass required [V]. Three different participant counts circulate and we publish none of them.
Naples Winter Wine Festival in January, the Goodland Mullet Festival in January into February, the Everglades Seafood Festival in February, the Marco Island Seafood and Music Festival in March, Sizzle Dining in September, and the Naples Stone Crab Festival in October [V, months confirmed]. Take dates from the organiser, never from an aggregator, one of which published invented forward dates for a Collier festival on 2026-09-04.
Not by comparison. Collier holds 110 mobile licences to Lee County’s 585. Per permanent restaurant that is one truck for every 11.5 in Collier against one for every 3.5 in Lee, and the gap widened between the two 2026 pulls [V].
52 licensed caterers, against 4 in Charlotte County [V, 2026-09-04]. Caterer density is a reasonable proxy for private entertaining at home, which is a reasonable proxy for a certain kind of household [I]. Nobody else publishes this.
No. Review counts in the underlying dataset were found contaminated at scale, and a rating on one platform cannot be compared to a rating on another. One Naples restaurant carries a 1.5 star spread across three platforms on the same date [V]. We publish no rating and no aggregator list position.
Because ten thousand of them exist and none of them is checkable. We publish what we measured: licence data, seat counts, club reciprocal rosters, seasonal closures with first party sources, and menu prices with the date they were read. If a fact on this page is wrong, you can find the source and prove it. That is the whole design.
Quarterly. Collier menu figures are re verified when older than about six months. Seasonal statuses are re verified after October 1 each year, because most of this research was performed at the deepest point of the off season. Stone crab regulations are re pulled first party every September. Reciprocal rosters are re read every season, because they are reissued annually.
Jesse McGreevy, licensed in Florida since October 2004, licence SL3101296, with Marc Comisar, broker associate licence BK3060671, of McGreevy and Comisar at Domain Realty, brokerage licence CQ1049052. Top 1% Real Estate Agents Nationally Since 2008. Every figure on this page names its source and its read date, and where two sources disagree we show both.
Last full verification pass: 2026-09-04. Reciprocal documents, licence data and seven seasonal statuses were read live on that date. Menu prices were read 2026-08-15 and recomputed on a Collier only basis 2026-09-04. Individual read dates are stamped inline throughout.
Sources deliberately not used to establish any claim on this page: Google Business Profile listings for club dining rooms, which are not first party under our research standard and cannot establish access policy; and third party review aggregators, which appear nowhere on this page as evidence for a rating, a count or a list position.
