Seagate Development Group has recently broken ground on an exciting new project in South Fort Myers that combines fun, fitness, and great beer under one roof. The new development, located on the corner of Michael G. Rippe and Six Mile Cypress Parkways, will house the Resurgence Brewing Company and Central Rock Gym, a unique collaboration that aims to provide a one-of-a-kind experience for locals and visitors alike.
This 45,000-square-foot facility will be home to the beloved Buffalo, New York-based Resurgence Brewing Company, marking their first location outside of New York. Unlike their original taproom, this new space will include a brewery, a full bar, an outdoor beer garden, and a restaurant offering a variety of pub-style handhelds and sharables, similar to what patrons enjoy in Buffalo. Resurgence Brewing Company, known for its flagship IPA and innovative experimental brews, will bring its passion for craft beer to Fort Myers, celebrating its tenth anniversary with this exciting expansion.
Joining Resurgence Brewing Company in this venture is Central Rock Gym, which will be opening its largest Florida location. Spanning over 20,000 square feet, the gym will feature impressive 45-foot-tall walls for lead and top rope climbing, 5,000 square feet dedicated to bouldering, and a range of other amenities including a kilter board and yoga classes. The gym will cater to climbers of all levels, with weekly route changes to keep things challenging and engaging.
The project officially began construction at 6090 Exchange Lane in Fort Myers and is set to be completed by Summer 2025. This new development is eagerly anticipated by the community and promises to offer something for everyone—whether you're a craft beer enthusiast, a fitness lover, or just looking for a fun place to spend your weekends.
