Coconut Point Welcomes Real Seafood Co.
Real Seafood Co. is set to open its doors this fall in the prominent Coconut Point location previously occupied by Bokamper’s Sports Bar & Grill and Hemingway’s Island Grill. The 8,000-square-foot space at 8001 Plaza del Lago Drive has remained vacant since 2020, when Bokamper’s closed after a six-year run, which followed Hemingway’s five-year stint.
A Vibrant Dining Destination
The 350-seat restaurant will be part of Lake Shops, a vibrant collection of retailers and eateries at the northern end of Coconut Point. This scenic outdoor mall includes popular dining spots like Rodizio Grill, Ted’s Montana Grill, Tony Sacco’s Coal Oven Pizza, and Stone Mountain Creamery, all set around a picturesque lake with fountains, directly across from Olive Garden.
A Trusted Name in Seafood
Real Seafood has a well-established presence in North Naples, where it has been operating a full-bar restaurant in the Galleria Shoppes off Vanderbilt Beach Road for 20 years. The brand also boasts locations in Toledo, Ohio, and Ann Arbor, Bay City, and Grand Rapids, Michigan. Real Seafood Co. is part of the Michigan-based Mainstreet Ventures Restaurant Group, which also operates Blue Pointe Oyster Bar & Seafood Grill at Bell Tower in South Fort Myers.

Real Seafood Co. specializes in a wide range of seafood dishes, including grouper, sea bass, salmon, perch, blue crab, clams, oysters, shrimp, scallops, and Maine lobster. The restaurant also features a raw bar, steaks, and chicken. In addition to delectable dinner entrees, their upscale menu includes shared plates, soups, salads, and desserts, ensuring there is something for everyone.
