Downtown Bonita Springs is entering an exciting new chapter as multiple transformative projects continue moving forward throughout 2026. Riverside Park Phase Two Construction Underway

Banyan Square Splash Pad Becoming a Major Family Destination
One of the most anticipated additions coming to Downtown Bonita Springs is the new state-of-the-art Banyan Square Splash Pad currently under construction near the historic Banyan Tree and Riverside Park.

City leaders have emphasized that the project is designed to create not only a daytime attraction for families, but also a beautiful nighttime destination featuring illuminated water displays and enhanced lighting surrounding the iconic Banyan Tree.
The splash pad and restroom facilities remain on track for a Winter 2026 grand opening.
