Celebrate Independence Day Across Southwest Florida!

All across Southwest Florida, communities and entities are planning on commemorating the Fourth in one way or another. Here are some exciting events happening in our area:

Estero
USA Independence Day 5k:
Looking for a fun and exciting way to kick off your Independence Day celebrations? Head to Hertz Arena's central location for a festive morning run and walk. Gather your family and friends to enjoy a professionally chip-timed 5k run and walk. Bonita Springs
Star-Spangled Bonita:
The City of Bonita Springs invites the public to its annual Star-Spangled Bonita 4th of July 2024 Event. The celebration will take place on Thursday, July 4, 2024, in downtown Bonita Springs Riverside Park - 10450 Reynolds St., Bonita Springs, FL 34135 - starting at 6:00 p.m.

The Star-Spangled Bonita celebration will follow the annual parade hosted by the Bonita Springs Professional Firefighters Local 3444 on July 4th. This year’s parade theme is America the Beautiful. The City of Bonita Springs is celebrating big this year on 4th of July for its 25th year celebration! We are excited to announce the addition of a drone show to the already one-of-a-kind displays. This show will be unique to Southwest Florida. Festivities for Star Spangled Bonita 2024 will begin at 6:00 pm and include musical entertainment performed by local favorite “The Ben Allen Band”. To close the night a spectacular 48-minute drone, firework display, and laser light show will light up the night at dusk.

Fort Myers
Caloosa Sound Amphitheater: Celebrate with the Venice Symphony Orchestra's star-spangled salute at 8 p.m. and fireworks at 9:45 p.m. General admission is free; VIP upgrades include seating, a barbecue buffet, restroom access, and a private cash bar. For VIP tickets, CLICK HERE.

Fort Myers Mighty Mussels:
Three-Day Celebration: From July 4-6, enjoy fireworks, food specials, and family fun at Hammond Stadium. Highlights include postgame fireworks, a patriotic hat giveaway, and Bark in the Park. Tickets start at $10 and are available HERE.

Fort Myers Beach:
Parade and Fireworks: The parade starts at 10 a.m. along Estero Boulevard, with fireworks beginning at 9 p.m. The parade route runs from Bay Oaks Recreation Center to Times Square. CLICK HERE for more info!

Independence Day Celebration: Enjoy live entertainment, a pre-parade pop-up bar, and a firework viewing cookout. Rooms are filling fast for this ultimate celebration.

4th of July Freedom Fest:
Victory Town Center: Enjoy a spectacular firework show, attractions, live entertainment, and food trucks from 5 to 9 p.m. at 1201 Taylor Lane. Admission and parking are free.

Cape Coral Festivities
Cape Coral’s Red, White & BOOM! Street Party and Fireworks:
The City of Cape Coral Parks and Recreation Department is proud to bring you the largest single-day event in Southwest Florida. Red, White, and Boom is a FREE event for attendees. Join us for Southwest Florida's best fireworks display, national entertainment, and fun for the whole family! The event takes place on Cape Coral Parkway at the foot of Cape Coral Bridge. Freedom 5K: The Priority Business Solutions Freedom 5K Run/WB Williamson Bros Kid’s Fun Run takes place the morning of Independence Day. The event donates proceeds to veteran organizations such as The Brotherhood of Heroes Resource Center and Museum in Cape Coral and the Special Operations Communicators Association. The race starts at 7 a.m. on Cape Coral Parkway. Registration is $40, $20 for veterans, and $15 for the fun run. For more information, visit runsignup.com.
American Legion Cape Coral: Celebrate at Post 90 with a flag retirement ceremony at 11 a.m., a blood drive starting at noon, and enjoy a burger, chips, and soda with any blood donation attempt. The event is located at 1401 S.E. 47th St., Cape Coral. CLICK HERE to sign up!
