After nearly three long years, the iconic Bubble Room has officially reopened its doors on Captiva Island—and we were lucky enough to be there for the soft opening! Let us be the first to tell you: it. was. amazing. From the nostalgic décor to the unforgettable desserts and the warm, familiar faces, it felt like stepping back into a cherished memory.
A Place That Means So Much
Captiva has always held a special place in our hearts, full of core memories—sunset strolls, family vacations, and unforgettable meals at The Bubble Room. To see this beloved spot finally reopen after so much hardship is honestly emotional. We are so incredibly excited to welcome The Bubble Room back to our island, and we’re beyond grateful to have been part of its grand return.
A Comeback Story for the Books
Originally opened in 1979, The Bubble Room was devastated by Hurricane Ian in 2022. Flooding, fire damage, and multiple storm delays pushed back the reopening time and again. But thanks to sheer perseverance and community support, this landmark is once again welcoming guests—and it's as magical as ever.

Grand Reopening Date: July 14, 2025
Lunch: 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. | Dinner: 4:30 – 9 p.m.
Reservations: Not available - first come, first served!
