Today, we celebrate the grand opening of Publix Super Markets at The Shoppes at Verdana Village, located at 19050 Corkscrew Road in Estero. This exciting addition marks a significant milestone in the ongoing development of South Florida's vibrant lifestyle hub.
Located just six miles east of I-75 along Corkscrew Road, Verdana Village is strategically positioned to cater to the area's burgeoning growth. The commercial component of this dynamic community will complement its residential offerings and unrivaled amenities, creating a comprehensive living experience.
Upon completion, The Shoppes at Verdana Village will span over 78,000 square feet, encompassing grocery, retail, medical, and dining options, along with additional outparcels available for lease. Publix Super Markets, occupying approximately 49,500 square feet, will be joined by a Publix Liquor store, providing residents and visitors with convenient access to their everyday needs.
Cameratta Companies COO Nick Cameratta expressed enthusiasm about the project, stating, "The Shoppes at Verdana Village will be a great draw for our residents and the surrounding area." The development will feature 15,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space spread across two buildings, with Heartland Dental and other esteemed tenants currently finalizing lease negotiations.
Craig Kopko, Senior Director of Development at WMG Development, highlighted the collaboration with Cameratta Companies and Publix Supermarkets, emphasizing the commitment to maintaining the area's high standard of living.
