A Taste of Rome Coming Soon to Estero
Exciting news for food lovers in Southwest Florida, Piccolo Buco by Cooper’s Hawk is opening soon in Estero! This elevated culinary concept blends Roman-style pizza with a refined wine and dining experience, giving locals a taste of Piccolo Buco’s authentic Neapolitan flavors, straight from Italy.
The Story Behind Piccolo Buco
The vision began when Cooper’s Hawk founder, Tim McEnery, visited a charming pizzeria nestled near Rome’s Trevi Fountain. Inspired by fresh ingredients, an airy crown-shaped crust, and the restaurant’s charm, McEnery partnered with Chef Luca Issa, the original creator of Piccolo Buco in Rome, to bring this authentic experience to the U.S.
Signature pies feature a tall, puffy crust that’s crisp outside yet soft inside, crafted with high-quality imported flour and award-winning extra virgin olive oil. The menu is built for balance, simple, elegant, and authentic.
