Engage Estero’s Adopt a Highway Efforts in Estero, FL

In January, Engage Estero's dedicated Adopt a Highway team made a significant impact on our community's cleanliness by collecting a staggering 560 pounds of bagged litter from Highway 41. This impressive effort, along with the removal of various wood, metal, and plastic parts, amounts to a total of 1.6 tons of debris cleared from the designated area. Since the end of last season, our volunteers have been diligently working to maintain the cleanliness of Highway 41, showcasing their commitment to making Estero a cleaner and more beautiful place to live.

A Collective Endeavor
Engage Estero's Adopt a Highway initiative is now in its 4th season of partnership with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), demonstrating a sustained commitment to community stewardship. The collective efforts of volunteers from Rapallo, Pelican Sound, Bella Terra, Copperleaf, The Vines, Belle Lago, Riverwoods, Grandezza, and Meadows of Estero have played a vital role in this ongoing endeavor. Together, they exemplify the spirit of community engagement and environmental responsibility.
